The use of a disposable sheath is a viable alternative to maintain the sterility of a flexible Nasopharygoscope during ENT procedures. The sheaths are certified to be impervious to the transmission of micoorganisms.

The sheath has a crystal clear optical window at the tip which matches the tip of the Nasopharygoscope to ensure optimal vision through the scope. 

In a busy ENT clinic there is an opportunity to save precious time by not having to reprocess the Nasopharygoscope after each procedure. It takes just a couple of minutes to remove the sheath after completion of one procedure and to fit a new sterile sheath ready for the next procedure. The scopes are likely to wear less by not having to go through aggressive cleaning procedures.
