The Herniatome Percutaneous Discectomy Device represents a major step forward in the treatment of Lumbar Radiculopathy related to disk herniation. By using either a combination of CT and flouroscopy or flouroscopy alone the device can be placed with pin point accuracy to safely remove tissue from the disc herniation to decompress the disc and relieve pressure on the nerve. The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia and can be completed within 30 minutes. The unique lateral cutting window and curved end ensure safe and effective decompression.
